Eijaz Kassam
Registered Kinesiologist - Vancouver
Eijaz graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelors of Kinesiology in 2021 and a Master of Management in 2022. His passion for rehabilitation medicine came from his own journey through the multiple injuries he sustained growing up playing high-level hockey and soccer. Exercise has always been a big part of his own rehab, which is why he strives to push the importance of exercise and movement in the rehab of his own clients.
Eijaz also completed a Minor in Psychology. He is a strong advocate for the significance that mental health plays alongside physical health. He understands that these two facets must work together for his patients to get the best possible outcomes. He doesn’t believe in just treating the injury, but instead utilizing a patient-centered model, where care is individualized to treat his client in full.
In his spare time, you will find Eijaz reading countless journal articles staying up to date in the latest of rehabilitation and exercise medicine research. He values an evidence-based approach with everything he does and continues to push his own understanding each day to constantly better the care he can give his clients.
Eijaz was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He is a huge Calgary Flames fan, and lover of country music. He is always looking for the best in everyone, and believes that understanding, and empathy are the two most important traits one can have. You will always see him with a smile on his face.
