Resources, support, and guidance for patients and providers.
Reducing Poverty Initiative (RPI)
We are thrilled to partner with NIDMAR to support medical practitioners to connect patients in Vancouver with the support and resources they need!
Steps to Get Started with the RPI
Check Eligibility: First, confirm if the patient meets the eligibility criteria for the RPI.
1
Patient Contacts NIDMAR: If the patient appears to meet the eligibility criteria, have the patient apply for the RPI to confirm coverage and receive any additional guidance on the program.
2
Treating practitioner fills out a medical condition report: This outlines your clinical impression and recommended treatments. This can be completed by a physician or allied health professional*.
3
Patient accesses recommended service: Tall Tree is proud to support the RPI with treatments such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, counselling and kinesiology.
4
*If you believe an OT or PT would be better suited to complete the form, let your patient know and have them call the clinic to book an appointment for their initial assessment.
For official information on the RPI please visit the NIDMAR webpage for details.
