Catherine Cantin (she/her) was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. She’s now happy to call Vancouver Island home. She completed a Master of Physical Therapy degree at the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Victoria.
Catherine’s passion for injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance has grown, in part, due to her extensive history of competing in sports. This included competing at the national level in track & field and coaching athletes in the weight room, pool, and on the field. She has a passion for health and fitness and enjoys helping people return to the activities they love. Catherine uses a holistic, evidence-based treatment approach to help patients reach their goals through education, exercise, and manual therapy. In the treatment room, Catherine is an active listener and personalizes her treatment plan to the individual needs of each client.
Catherine also has a special interest in pelvic health and offers pelvic health rehabilitation services for all genders in an empowering and inclusive space. She has experience treating bladder & bowel concerns, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, and erectile dysfunction. Catherine strives to normalize the discussion and pursuit of treatment for pelvic health concerns. She is inspired every day by the courage, vulnerability, and healing capacity of her clients.
Outside the clinic, you can find Catherine at a CrossFit class, on a trail exploring beautiful Vancouver Island, or playing board games with her friends and family.
