Ashley Jestin

Areas of Expertise:

Hip & knee osteoarthritis, tendinopathy, scoliosis, urinary incontinence, prolapse.

Ashley graduated from the Master of Physical Therapy program at the University of British Columbia. Before pursuing physiotherapy, she taught trauma-informed meditation and yoga classes, which continue to influence her practice. She takes care to create a space that feels welcoming, non-judgmental, and safe for folks from all walks of life.

Ashley is passionate about evidence-informed practice, pain science, and a biopsychosocial approach to treatment. She loves to work alongside people as they rediscover the activities they love by leveraging the resilience and adaptability of the human body. Ashley collaborates with individuals to create a treatment plan that feels meaningful, manageable, and worthwhile for them.

Ashley offers both orthopedic physiotherapy and pelvic floor physiotherapy. She aims to bring increased awareness and decreased stigma to concerns related to pelvic pain, incontinence, prolapse, and bowel and bladder issues.

Ashley has a special interest in low back pain, scoliosis, shoulders, hip and knee osteoarthritis, and weightlifters.

Outside of the clinic, you will find Ashley cycling, backpacking, strength training, sitting in the sauna, or drinking tea with her cat.

2SLGBTQIA+ friendly. For pelvic health, Ashley is only accepting new patients with female anatomy.
