Kirstie began her career as a Registered Massage therapist in 2011 after graduating from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy.
Starting out in a high end luxury spa downtown Vancouver, she soon pivoted to a more clinical setting to focus more on deep therapeutic massage with an element of relaxation when needed.
She strives to assess each person as a whole and discover the root cause of their discomfort. Some of her modalities include Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release and craniosacral therapy to treat a variety of ailments including but not limited to postural dysfunction, chronic or recent injuries, tension headaches, Neck/shoulder/back pain, and stress.
Since becoming a mother, Kirstie has been drawn to working to support women through their pre/post natal needs. She has pregnancy pillows and bolsters to be able to safely and comfortably massage them on their journey of parenthood.
Kirstie is thrilled to be part of such a diverse team at Tall Tree and to be working within the community of Cordova Bay.
Kirstie has a great interest in health and fitness. On her own time she enjoys trying different styles of exercise ranging from weight lifting to yoga. In addition to fitness Kirstie loves spending time outdoors with her husband and son and traveling to the island’s surf destinations to work on her surfing skills.
