Registered Acupuncturist - Cordova Bay
Areas of Expertise:
Stress/anxiety, Migraines, Neck Pain, Menopause
Lucy has had a fun and fulfilling practice on the Saanich Peninsula of Victoria BC since 2003. Her aim is to compassionately promote wellness and inspire a balanced lifestyle, free of pain. It has been an honour to work in-depth with so many individuals over the years, assisting them in reaching and maintaining their health goals.
Her journey began with an intrigue in the body’s innate ability to heal itself and a curiosity about the interconnectedness of things in the natural world. Initially studying nutrition then Western herbalism, Lucy found Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which appealed to her heritage. She attended the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in Nelson BC for a 4-year diploma program and graduated with honours. It was a rigorous curriculum focused on all the TCM fundamentals as well as Chinese language, history, Qigong, and Tai Chi.
She continues to grow through continuing education in a variety of areas to create a balanced practice. While acupuncture can treat such a wide variety of complaints; areas of special interest include headaches/migraines, mental/emotional stress, women’s health as well as Dr. Tan Balance Method. Since joining Tall Tree in Cordova Bay, she has expanded her knowledge in pain sciences and is excited to be collaborating with such an outstanding and inspiring team.
Lucy is registered with the College of TCM Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA) and also a member of the Association of TCM and Acupuncture of BC (ATCMA). When not in the clinic, she enjoys creating delicious meals, flower arranging, swimming in lakes, and being in the great outdoors.
