Mental Health Services
At Tall Tree, we take an integrated and comprehensive approach to your mental health and work as a team to ensure you are receiving the best possible care for your needs. Our core mental health team of practitionerds consists of Registered Psychologists and Registered Clinical Counsellors, all who have a minimum masters degree and many who have a doctorate and further specialized training. We have an expert for many mental health conditions and we offer a range of services including single session therapy, nature counselling and short- and long-term individual therapy.

What to Expect - Mental Health Services

We make getting started easy.
Our clinical counselling, nature therapy, sleep therapy & insomnia, and sports performance intakes can be booked online.
Single Session Therapy - offered by both psychologists and clinical counsellors - also can be booked online.
For any other services, including an intake appointment with a registered psychologist, our administrative coordinators will be happy to discuss your booking options and provide guidance about what might work best for you.

Initial Assessment - 50 Minutes
During your first appointment, your mental health clinician will get to know you and your reasons for seeking help. They'll share a treatment plan and/or they may suggest another team member or program that might be a better fit for you.
Note: initial sessions aren’t meant for detailed assessments and/or making mental health diagnoses. Our team can’t complete forms or write letters related to illness or disability claims at these sessions, and we’re unable to prescribe medications.

Follow-Up Appointments - 50 Minutes
The number and timing of follow-up appointments will depend on your co-created treatment plan. Because availability can be limited, we encourage all clients to schedule their appointments well ahead of time. In these follow-up sessions, you and your clinician will collaborate on your individualized treatment plan, celebrate wins, and problem-solve any underlying barriers on your journey towards better mental health.
