Immerse yourself in nature’s splendor: Run through majestic forests, surrounded by very tall trees. Enjoy the serene lakeside trails, where the only sounds you’ll hear are the birds singing, your footsteps on the path, and one kilometer of highway noise.
A course that’s as fast as it is beautiful: This flat and scenic route is perfect for both seasoned runners chasing a PB and first-time racers looking for a fun and achievable challenge. Soak up the energy of the local running community and take in the stunning views of Elk Lake.

All proceeds from the Tall Tree 10K go directly to the Redd Fish Restoration Society, a local charity doing incredible work to protect and restore our ecosystems, especially the ones wild salmon call home. Since 1995, they’ve been partnering with nuučaanuł Nations to heal damaged habitats and bring balance back to our natural spaces. They combine science, Indigenous knowledge, and hands-on restoration work to make a real difference. So when you sign up for the race, you’re not just challenging yourself, you’re helping support healthier ecosystems and stronger communities.
